Artwork Guidelines

To ensure your prints come out looking amazing, here’s what we need:

• File Resolution: At least 300 DPI with a transparent background.
• Best Quality: Vector artwork is always best for sharp, high-quality prints.
• Heads-Up About Canva: While Canva is great for designing, it often doesn’t provide vector-quality files.
• Accepted File Types: PNG or PDF.
• Color Format: Please save your files as CMYK. If submitted in RGB, our software will automatically convert them to CMYK, which may slightly alter the colors.

Important Note:
xDTFx isn’t responsible for color mismatches from incorrectly submitted files or prints made from low-quality artwork.

Heat Press Tips

Every heat press has its quirks, but here’s the process we swear by in our shop:

For Cotton & Blends

• Temperature: 300–310°F
• Press Time: 6–10 seconds
• Pressure: Firm
• Peel: Hot

Pro Tip: We love 310°F for 6 seconds—it’s our sweet spot!

For Polyester

• Temperature: 280–290°F
• Press Time: 6–8 seconds
• Pressure: Firm
• Peel: Hot

Pro Tip: We recommend a second press with a heavy linen or canvas after peeling for the best results.
